The Only Way Is Essex, or TOWIE for short, is a reality TV show that people either love or hate. However one thing that is interesting to note is that many of the female stars often seem to go on diets, and many of them seem to be successful as well. In this article I want to focus specifically on the weight loss methods employed by Lauren Goodger because her weight loss seems to be the most impressive.

Lauren Goodger is one of those people that always seems to be on a diet. However to be fair, she has successfully lost a lot of weight in the past, and seems to know how to lose several pounds once she puts her mind to it.

I think it was last year that she admitted losing around a stone in weight (going from 11 stone 4 lbs to 10 stone 4 lbs) thanks in no small part to a diet pill called Meratol.

Meratol is said to help speed up your metabolism, burn calories and suppress your appetite, and is also able to help block carbohydrate absorption. So it is clear to see why she had so much success taking this particular supplement.

In more recent times Lauren Goodger has admitted that she has made changes to her lifestyle and gone to extreme lengths to try and lose weight fast in time for the summer.

She actually went to a weight loss boot camp, which involved gruelling workout sessions several times a day, and sticking to a minimalist diet of a boiled egg and half an apple each day.

Apparently she ended up losing 6 lbs in 3 and a half days, and since then she has admitted that she now consumes no more than 1200 calories per day in order to keep her new figure and hopefully lose a few more pounds.

This seems slightly foolhardy to me because consuming a mere 1200 calories per day is not really sustainable in the long run, and is certainly not much fun either.

I would suggest that she would be better off leading a normal lifestyle, where she consumes around 1500-2000 calories per day, and just do a lot more exercise throughout the week.

In conjunction with a good quality supplement, such as the Meratol supplement that she used before, or a top quality weight loss pill such as Phen375, for instance, she would still be able to lose a few pounds, and wouldn’t have to stick to a boring, low calorie diet in order to do so.
